Abstract

The article describes the Metropolitan Ilarion (Ivan Ohienko), a well-known Ukrainian scholar, Ukrainian statesman of the UPR period, Metropolitan of Kholm and Pidlyashshia (1944), the First Hierarch of the Ukrainian Greek-Orthodox Church of Canada (1951), and presents his scientific and memorial heritage stored in the collection of the National Museum of Ukrainian History.
