PRESERVATION OF MASS MATERIAL IN THE COLLECTIONS OF THE ARCHAEOLOGY MUSEUM OF V.N. KARAZIN KHARKOV NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The report is devoted to the methods of mass material’s preservation in collections of the Archaeology Museum of V.N. Karazin Kharkov National University, namely the use of boxes made of chemically neutral plastic, which makes it possible to create proper conditions for material’s preservation. This methodology has been used in our museum since 2004 and has positively proven itself, so we’d like to share our experience.
