Abstract

The article considers the controversial issues of the Ukranian history in 17th–18th century, which are ambiguosly interpreted within the society. The presentation of these issues in the museum exhibition is analyzed and viewpoints of opponents are given in the article. The significance of the museum in the patriotic education is stressed.
