ARTEFACTS OF Y. MARSHAK’S ART AND JEWELRY FACTORY IN THE COLLECTIONS OF UKRAINIAN AND FOREIGN MUSEUMS
Abstract
Artefacts of Jozeph Abramovych Marshak’s Jewelry Factory, existed for forty years (1878–1918), are included in the collections of Ukrainian and foreign museums. Regarding the small number of preserved items, each of them is unique. Some collection items are helpful in the identification of Marshak’s style features and its importance against the background of jewelry art development in the Russian Empire and Europe in the end of 19th – early 20th centuries.
