NEW FINDS OF THE ARCHAIC SCYTHIAN DAGGERS FROM THE NMUH COLLECTION
Abstract
In the article unpublished specimens of bladed weapons, dates to 7th – 6th centuries BC, from the National Museum of Ukrainian History collection are analyzed. The finds feature uncatagolised 305 examples and artifacts of O. Bobrynsky’s collection. They have been probably found during prerevolutionary excavation of the burial mounds in the Middle Dnipro region. Analogies from the intact complexes show that uncatalogised finds may be dated quite wide, up to a century.
