Abstract
У дослідженні розкрито основні етапи надходження модерного мистецтва від заснування музею до художників «нової хвилі». Також розглядаються основні ідеологічні перепони формування колекції в 1920–1930-ті рр. та суттєві її поповнення у 1980–1990-х рр.
