Abstract

The publication is devoted to problems of restoration of porcelain and faience on the example of restored monuments of leading Ukrainian enterprises dated by 19th–early 20th centuries from the National Museum of Ukrainian History collection. Artefacts had signs of the previous restoration and some traces of usage. Based on the research, a number of challenges in conducting restoration interventions were revealed. Restored artefacts are the important components for the formation of the museum exhibition, since they are the objects of cultural heritage of Ukraine.
