Abstract

The publication is dedicated to investigation of Russian and European military drums dated by 18th– 19th centuries in order attribute the military drum from the National Museum of Ukrainian history collection. In the article the major processes of restorative intervention in the artefacts and author’s technology of parchment type leather restoration are enlightened.
