ANCIENT BUILDINGS REMAINS FOUND DURING EXCAVATIONS AT 10–12 MYKHAILIVSKA STREET IN KYIV
Abstract
The article discusses the results of the rescue archaeological excavations in 2006 and 2014, which were held on the territory being intended for building and located on the street Mykhaylivska, 10– 12, in the Shevchenkivskyi district in Kyiv. Excavations resulted in discovering and researching the remains of three auxiliary buildings of ancient time dated 11th-12th centuries. Such data can be used for the statistical analysis of the population density of this territory of duting the of Kyivan Rus and as addittion to the existing archaeological map of the Kyiv city
