METAL ARTEFACTS COLLECTION FROM THE EXCAVATIONS OF VYSHGHOROD POTTERS’ POSAD IN 2013–2015
Abstract
The article analyzes metal artefacts found during three field seasons of archaeological excavations of Vyshgorod posad. Details of belt sets, adornments, crosses, a coin and a stamp are the most interesting artefacts. Along with the products of local origin, there are also imported ones. Materials are evidence of material and spiritual culture of the Vyshgorod posad population, adding significantly to the existing information about the socio-economic development of the city
