Abstract

The article is devoted to the German archaeological albums of the end of 19th  – 1st half of 20th centuries, which are housed in the collections of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Department of Archaeology. The article provides the historical overview regarding the creation of the albums, features of their development, the topics of researches as well as how they appeared in Ukraine.
