AUTHOR’S PORCELAIN PLATES OF HALYNA MAKOVSKA IN THE COLLECTION OF THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF UKRAINIAN HISTORY
Abstract
The post is devoted to the creative way of Makovska Halina Nikolaevna and the series of decorative plates made at Kiev experimental ceramic and art factory in the early 1940s, whose decorative design belongs to its authorship. These plates are part of the Collection of the Ceramic Collection Group collection of the National Museum of Ukrainian History. There are ten such plates and they contain scenes from the story “Taras Bulba”, written by Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol.
