CANNON WITH A STAMP “SIBIR:KB / 17Z4” FROM THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF UKRAINIAN HISTORY’S FUNDS

Abstract

The article reviews the cannon from Kamensk iron plant (the Ural Mountains) with a stamp “SIBIR:KB / 1724”, which is kept in the funds of the National Museum of Ukrainian History. The description of its physical characteristics is indicated, the stamps and monograms depicted on the barrel are identified. The history of the emergence of the cannons with such stamps is illucidated. It has been suggested that it may be exhibited in the All-Ukrainian museum town in the 1920–1930s.
