Abstract

The article studies the issues of glass trade in Ukrainian lands in the 17th–18th centuries as one of the factors of the genesis of the national industrial capacities and economic systems. Using archaeological materials and archival sources, historical-comparative, problem-chronological and statistical methods are applied in the study of the products of Ukrainian glass production and imports of the 17th–18th centuries.

Key words: national economy, trade, huta glass, import, archaeological artifact.
