Abstract

This report presents an overview of the cult objects of the Kyiv-Mezhyhiria faience factory of the collection of the National Museum of Ukrainian History, which due to the dispersion of the collection still haven’t become the subject of special studies. These objects are examples of imitation of the Western European tendencies of making of the sacral objects, which at same time illustrate interest in the folk decorative art and to original understanding of the image of God. According to the results of the study, the names, typologies, sizes and description of the exhibits are defined due to the important studies on this topic. Further investigation of the history of the objects of this segment and identification of their owners are desired and important.
