Abstract

The article deals with the problems of restoration of the marble products that are exhibited in the museum-lapidary of the National Historical and Archaeological Reserve ‘Olbia’. In 2017–2018, about 18 marble museum objects were restored. The significance of the restorer’s work in the further research of the artefacts is demonstrated. The attribution of a marble artefact is justified. It is a pedestal with a niche, where the relief was depicted with the image of a deity, used in the household.
