Abstract

The publication is devoted to the research and restoration of the porcelain vase with the portrait of M. V. Khomychevskyi in the mid-1950’s from the collection of the National Museum of Ukrainian History. The object has been restored before. Based on the previous researches, a number of challenging tasks were identified in restorative interventions and historical research.
The restored porcelain product is an important testimony of history and culture of Ukrainian literary criticism and art criticism, a unique example for the subsequent expositions of the museum.
