Abstract

The article examines the museums of brick and brick production all over the world. Regularities of time of their appearance and geography of distribution are considered. The aim of the article is to find approaches to the use of bricks as museum specimens on the basis of world experience. Preparation of the exhibition of bricks ‘Another brick in the wall’ in Vinnytsia Regional Museum of local lore is described as an example of the implementation of this experience.
