CLAUDIA FILONOVICH’S FIGURINES MADE FOR PORCELAIN FACTORIES OF KYIV AND POLONNE IN THE LATE 1940s – THE EARLY 1950s

Abstract

The task of this research is to return of a Ukrainian sculptor`s name, who created porcelain figurines in Kharkov, Kyiv, and Polonne, from non-existence. Not published previously archival sources and works from museums’ collections have been introduced. The well-known artist`s biography have been complemented with the new facts. The authorship of previously untapped porcelain figurines has been reconstructed. The attribution of Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi museums’ collections have been improved.
