THE WORKS OF A PORCELAIN SCULPTOR OKSANA ZHNYKRUP FROM THE COLLECTION OF NATIONAL MUSEUM OF UKRAINIAN FOLK DECORATIVE ART

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to study the works (refine attribution, compilate a catalogue) of an individual author – Kyiv Experimental Ceramic Art Factory’s porcelain sculptor Oksana Zhnykrup – from one of the main Ukrainian museum’s collection – National museum of Ukrainian folk decorative art. On the basis of archival sources new facts about creation of her works have been established, their names and dating have been adjusted. New archival sources have been introduced. Further study of the mentioned author’s works from the museum’s and private collections would give the possibility to present the artist’s work more fully and would have practical importance for identification of her works.
