Abstract
The museum today is not only a permanent exhibition, but also a changing in time exhibition space, unlimited in forms of submitting the chosen idea. Given the educational role of museum institutions, it is important to use every exhibition to form a progressive thought in an interested visitor. The National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine appealed to the theme of extraordinary role of the individual in preserving the historical and cultural achievements of the state.
The urgency of the theme is due to the fact that exhibitions devoted to celebrities both past and present become an active part of the propaganda program of the national interests of our country. The author analyzes the available sources of this problem and thoroughly examines the versatile activity of the academician P. T. Tron’ko, which has become a great contribution to the science and monument conservation in our country.
The urgency of such exhibitions is that in the time of social and political crisis, our society is looking for role models that will be a convincing proof of the role of a person in the life of the state. The main topic of the study is that not the time or regime affects the livelihoods of an individual, but his own beliefs.
The exhibitions dedicated to prominent people of Ukraine of different ages will be useful for pedagogical and educational programs. This is the main strategy of the memorial exhibition in the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine.
