Abstract

The study reviews Vasyl Oliinyk’s life and scientific achievements as an archaeologist, ethnographer, museologist. It is one the first to make an attempt and arrange and summarize the writings of our compatriot, as it comprises a lot of books and articles on local lore. Vasyl Oliinyk is one of the most respectful figures in the field of historical studies of the Zalischyky district, which is situated in the south of the Ternopil region. This research is an original contribution to the memory and respect from the present head of the museum studies in Zalischyky.
