Abstract

The present report provides a short description of a workshop entitled ‘Analytical methods of study of historical weapons’, held in Kyiv, Ukraine, in June 8th, 2017. The Ukrainian and US experts in the field of historical arms and armor and archaeometallurgy were invited to the conference and delivered their paperes. The practical part included the metallographic studies of medieval swords.
