Abstract

There are considered approaches of learning about Kyiv merchantry, historiographical theme elaboration and its source potential. Taking into account these issues, main points are formed regarding the problem of highlighting Kyiv merchantry in the museum display. There is represented a key trends characteristic of merchantry activity and its role in city history.
