SYMPOSIUM OF POTTERY AS WAY TO ADD FUNDS OF THE MUSEUM’S COLLECTION IN OPISHNIA

Abstract

In article considered the founding of symposium of pottery at the National Museum of Ukrainian Pottery in Opishnia. The attention is focused on the role of workshops that held in the framework of symposium in replenishing the museum’s ceramological collection Opishnia. For the first time marked a key role measures in creating a single National Gallery of monumental clay sculptures in the open air in Ukraine. The main statistical data about the participants of workshops and created their work been given. Through the statistical data it was determined that the main problems are the preservation and exhibition of monumental sculptures outdoors. The data also proved that symposium-workshops of pottery are the most effective way to replenish ceramological museum`s collections of modern art.
