Abstract

Basing on the archeological finds from the collection of the Anchors Historical Museum, the article explores an Ancient Rus settlement in Smiach village. The author tries to determine the territory of Ancient Rus settlement and its dynamics during the 10th – the first half of 13th centuries due to the dating of rims’ morphological characteristics and the place where pottery was found.
