Abstract

Metal works with enamel paintings are currently in the collection of the Historical Treasures of the Ukraine Museum Summary. The presentation proposes to discover a collection of enamel paintings housed in the Historical Treasures of Ukraine Museum (administrated by the National Museum of Ukrainian History). This is a large collection of enamel art that consists mostly of the clerical objects – some monumental artworks with enamel decoration and numerous separate medallions with enamel painting. Its enamels, created in the 17th – early 20th centuries, represent the Christian iconography.
