CERAMIC BOWLS FROM BURIALS & CREMATIONS OF CHERNIAKHIVSKYI BURIER (GRAVE FIELD) IN PRYVILNE VILLAGE IN THE NMUH COLLECTION

Abstract

The article is devoted to the publication of materials of three grave-cremations (№ 12, № 17, № 19) from Chernyakhivsky cemetry in the village Pryvilne. P. A. Kozar explored the monument in 1929 as part of works of Dniprobudivskoyi expedition. Some materials from these excavations is preserved in the collections of the National Museum of Ukrainian History. These include ceramic bowls that stood upside down on accumulations of cremations residues in this graves. Found in the graves carnelian beads and iron pendants in the form of bucket can determine the time of burial in chronological within the last third of the third century – the beginning of IV century.
